Wouldn’t you love to receive a letter from your future self, dated April 14, congratulating you on not just surviving, but thriving during the next 4 weeks? Can you imagine how that would make you feel right now?
You could write a letter like that today: Visualize what your ideal world looks like a month from now. Describe your goals as though they have already happened. How do you feel? What are you doing? Focus only on what you want. Write it all down.
Then put it in a self-addressed envelope. You can actually mail it in a few weeks and/or pull it out anytime you need a dose of encouragement and positivity.
I’ve tried this little exercise in the past and it has really helped to relieve anxiety during uncertain times. Let me know how it works for you.
